By using the Site or communicating with us by phone, text, or fax, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

4. Text Messaging (SMS) Program

The Rodd Firm offers text messaging as a convenience to current and prospective clients for communications such as case status updates, appointment reminders, document requests, intake follow-up, and responses to general inquiries submitted by phone or through the Site.

4.1 Consent

By providing your mobile phone number to The Rodd Firm — whether through a form on the Site, over the phone, by texting our office directly, or in person — you consent to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from The Rodd Firm related to your inquiry or legal matter, sent manually or using automated technology. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving any service from The Rodd Firm. Message frequency varies depending on the status of your inquiry or matter. Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier plan.

4.2 Opt-Out and Help

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we will send a final confirmation text and you will receive no further messages unless you opt back in. 4.3 Carrier Disclaimer

Mobile carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Not all mobile devices or carriers may be supported, and text messaging is not available in all areas.

4.4 No Sharing of Text Messaging Data

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information related to text messaging consent will not be shared with third parties, except as described in Section 6 below (for example, with our service providers who help us operate our texting platform, or as required by law).

5. Fax Communications

If you send documents to The Rodd Firm by fax, or provide us with a fax number, we will use that information to send and receive documents related to your inquiry or legal matter, such as intake forms, medical records authorizations, correspondence, and case documents. We take reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality of information sent or received by fax, but no transmission method is completely secure, and information sent by fax to an incorrect number may be received by an unintended recipient.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information we collect:

  • With co-counsel, expert witnesses, court reporters, mediators, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties as necessary to represent you or evaluate your matter;
